Most people who are visiting Colorado are familiar with its amazing Mountain views, world renowned skiing, beautiful mountains, and of course its brewery industry, but not for its wine. Everyone enjoys Colorado’s skiing resorts but few fortunate people discover Denver’s urban scene or Colorado’s wine country in the western slope (Palisade and Grand Junction). Mile High Wine Tours is proud to be a part of this Colorado wine movement. This is not surprising considering that most locals do not know that there are wineries in Denver, Colorado.

The wine industry in Denver is growing and is becoming more known to both locals and tourist alike.  Colorado wineries are constructing a market from scratch and demonstrating world class wine crafting.

Colorado is proud to host over 90 wineries and sets itself apart from the rest of the US by having the highest altitude vineyards. You could say we have “high altitude wine“.   In the Denver metro area alone you can visit over a dozen different award winning wineries.  If you’re looking for things to do in Denver, Colorado beyond drinking beer or just want to celebrate a birthday, bachelorette party, a corporate outing or just want to escape the routine come on an urban wine adventure!
