I’m sure we can all agree there are few things better than a great happy hour. Leaving happy hour feeling full, maybe a bit tipsy, and not broke? Sign me up. Sometimes you just need to hit one on a Monday because it’s been a Monday or to celebrate the end of the week on a Friday. There are so many great Denver restaurants and bars with fantastic happy hours (there are even restaurants from our other lists that could be on this one – Central Bistro & Bar, Linger, and Postino to name a few), but these are a simply a few restaurants where the happy hour needs to be taken advantage of.

Lola | Coastal Mexican – LoHi

Happy hour at Lola is seven days a week, but the real treat is that there’s no time limit on Monday. Their Monday happy hour goes all night and we won’t judge you if you take advantage of it (this is a safe space). They have margaritas and cocktails starting at $5, beer starting at $2, and wine starting at $5. Lola also has a great list of happy hour food including tacos, oysters, salad, and ceviche. It’s a great Mexican joint with a coastal spin and it’s well worth a happy hour trip.

Panzano – Downtown

Panzano’s happy hour begins at 2:30 daily and if you ask us, lunch is best when it rolls straight into happy hour. For drinks they have $4 local beer, $5 wine by the glass or a $12 carafe of red or white wine. They also have a list of cocktails starting at $6. The delicious food they serve during happy hour is also a great deal – pasta and pizza for $8 or small bites for $6. And if you’d like to try Panzano for dinner, you can do so by booking a tour with us!

Blue Sushi Sake Grill – LoDo

There’s something to be said for a good sushi happy hour. You can get so much food for such good prices. They have both an extensive list of food and drinks available during their daily happy hour from 3:00 – 6:30 Monday through Saturday and noon – 8 on Sunday. (Blue also has happy hour twice on Friday and Saturday; 3 – 6:30 and then 10:30 – midnight for all you night owls.) Their happy hour drink menu consists of over ten martini options $6.50 as well as a sake sangria for the same price. There is of course sushi and sashimi on the food list plus starters and shared plates.

Their happy hour list is smaller than the previous restaurants but it’s still very good. They have happy hour Monday through Friday and all day Sunday. So if you’re over shopping in Cherry Creek, this is a perfect place to end your day. They have $4 wine and sangria and all beer is also $4. You can choose between zucca chips, bruschetta, pizza, or charcuterie for food all at an unbeatable price. They also have the option to choose between a bottle of wine and bruschetta, pizza, or charcuterie for only $20.

Jax Fish House and Oyster Bar – LoDo

Jax has the seafood happy hour you’ve been looking for. They have oysters for $1.50 each, steamed mussels with the option to choose from two different sauces for $9, clam chowder poutine for $10, or a seafood sampler for $20. And that’s just to name a few. There are easily enough options for multiple happy hour trips. It’s the perfect Denver bar to curb that seafood craving while also not breaking the bank.
