Estes Park Wine & Chocolate Festival

This festival usually happens during early February and takes place at the Estes Park Events Complex. 2019 will be its second year but don’t snooze while purchasing tickets for this festival since it sells out!

Estes Park Wine & Chocolate Festival encourages you to sample sweets from the region’s finest chocolatiers, taste pours from a variety of wineries, and enjoy a romantic weekend in beautiful Estes Park. Make sure that when you arrive, get a wine glass to taste free pours from the wine vendors and chocolate samples. Also, you have the chance to purchase your favorite bottles of wine and chocolates to take home.

Manitou Springs Wine Festival

The Manitou Springs wine festival specifically happens every June. So, it’s great news that you might get to attend this event this year! You’ll get to spend your day in beautiful Manitou Springs enjoying generous tastings from thirty Colorado Wineries. You’ll get to enjoy wonderful live music, food and buy from gift vendors while you stroll through the Memorial Park.

3. Telluride Wine Festival

Experience a rather intimate four-day wine and food festival in the majestic Rocky Mountains. This beautiful place boasts 14,000 ft peaks where the communities of Telluride and the Mountain Village lie.  Celebrated annually in the last full weekend in June, this year’s festivities will open June 28th and run through July 1st.

Although they won’t be returning this year, 2018, they hope to be back next year. The Steamboat Wine Festival is certainly an event where master winemakers, culinary experts, and famous guests gather in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. With nearly 600 wines, spirits, beer and some of the region’s best restaurants, this event is a food and wine lover’s dream.

5. Palisade Mountain Winefest

Lastly, we’ve been saving the best for last of course.

This wine festival has been undoubtedly voted the Best Wine Festival in the U.S., by USA Today’s 10Best. Employing a panel of travel and wine and experts to nominate the best festivals celebrating wine across the country’s top wine-making regions.

The Mountain Winefest is usually held on the third weekend in September with “The Festival in the Park” taking place at Riverbend Park in Palisade. It is uniquely Colorado’s largest and oldest wine festival featuring dozens of Colorado wineries, live music, a grape stomp, and seminars.
