What does the wine tour include?

 

INCLUSIONS: Round-trip transportation, lunch or dinner, wine tastings at each winery and a tour guide.
EXCLUSIONS: The wine tour price does NOT include chauffeur gratuity or any additional wine on the tour.


Where are your pick up locations?

 

Downtown Denver Tours:

We can pick you up and drop you off from your location of choice (within a 10-mile radius of downtown Denver). The other two options are, Wild Women Winery located on 1660 Champa St, Denver, CO 80205 and at Union Station.

Parking: For Wild Women Winery there is a garage where you can park all day on 17th and Stout and it is free at the meters on Sundays.


How do your wine tours run?

Tour pick up times are the following:
We run most private guided tours twice a day 7 days a week. Our daytime wine tours start at 11 am and evening ones start at 6 pm MST. Although, we can be flexible depending on the number of guests. Once all the guests are aboard, your tour guide will discuss Denver Winemaking, a brief history of Colorado wine and explain what is ahead on the tour.

For daytime wine tours, once you arrive at your first winery or wine tasting room, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting for approximately 1 hour followed by a tour and lunch. For evening wine tours dinners are served at the first venue and it is paired with a few wines to taste. At the conclusion of the tour, your guide will return to your original pick-up location.


How long do the tours last?

Most tours last between 4 to 5 hours, depending on how many wineries are visited and on how much time guests spend at each winery.


Are there vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options during the tour?

Yes. The wineries and restaurants we work with have certain vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes or they adapt certain dishes to fit your dietary needs. Please notify us in advance of special dietary preferences when you make your reservation.


Do I have to book online?

Yes, please select “RESERVE NOW” at the top of the webpage to make reservations. If you have trouble, please call us at (303) 217-9933 and we will assist you with any issues or special requests you may have.


Do you require us to bring our printed tickets?

No, simply give your names to the driver when you are picked up. We will text or call you when you when the vehicle is on its way.


Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Can I pay cash?

Yes, you must pay in advance via credit card on our booking system or by submitting a private event inquiry. We don’t take cash. However, in the case that an extra person or two would like to join the tour we could accept credit/debit card payments in the vehicle.


How do I book a large group with guests that are paying individually?

Have your group leader contact us through an Inquiry Form or by calling us at (303) 217-9933 to let us know the name of your group and how many guests you expect. We will place a hold for the number of guests in your party, and then the guests will go online to individually pay for their reservations. Please make sure your guests note the group name under which the reservation is being held.


Will we be sharing the tour with other people?

We are currently ONLY offering private guided tours. So no, you will not be sharing a tour with other guests.

If you would like to book one of our guided private tours we need at least 10 guests to run it.

Do you offer corporate and convention group tours?

Yes, we provide turnkey service, great pricing, and customized tours to fit your budget and time preferences. CLICK HERE to find out more.


Do you offer anything different for groups celebrating special occasions?

Yes, please specify the special occasion on your reservation so we can do our best to make the tour even more memorable. Groups larger than 10 guests that are celebrating a birthday, retirement party, or a bachelor/bachelorette get one complimentary guest. Please contact us directly if you have other requests. click HERE.


Up to how many people can you host for a wine tasting group?

Anywhere from 10 to 100+ people depending on the type of tour. Most of our tours range from 15 – 20 guests.


How much walking is involved?

Minimal walking is required as we provide door-to-door drop off service at each winery.


Are gift certificates available?

We will only be offering gift certificates for Self-guided wine tour passes. These are a favorite for holiday gifts, employee gifts, and auction prizes. You may purchase gift certificates by clicking HERE or “Gift Certificates” at the top menu of the webpage.


What are the age requirements to join a tour?

You must be 21 years or older to participate in the wine tour and tastings. Some wineries will check ID’s, so be sure to bring a government-issued form of identification.


Is the wine tour vehicle Non-smoking?

Yes, absolutely no smoking is permitted on our vehicles. If smoking occurs in a vehicle, the tour will be terminated, no refund will be issued and additional fees will be applied. Additional fees from $250 to $500 will also apply for any damages to the vehicle including but not limited to vomiting.


Is the vehicle air-conditioned/heated?

Yes, all of our luxury vehicles are air-conditioned and heated (weather permitting).


Are cameras allowed on the tour?

Yes, please take as many photos as you would like during any of our wine tours and feel free to share them on our Facebook page! We upload all of our tour photos onto Facebook so feel free to like our page and find your photos!
