It’s finally the time of year for concerts, festivals, hiking and camping. If you’re from Colorado, you know that summer can be full of adventure and unforgettable memories.
Something I look forward to every year is the Keystone Wine and Jazz festival. The fun starts by getting a group of friends together, renting a scenic hotel room and getting the opportunity to taste hundreds of different wines in a weekend. (Don’t worry, you don’t have to try all the wine if you don’t want to.) The weather is always perfect, the mountain air is refreshing, and the music is exciting. Not only is there wine, but there are amazing food vendors surrounding the festival. The chefs from exquisite restaurants all over Colorado come up to give out samples of some of their finest dishes. The experience is unforgettable.
This year is the 26th annual Colorado Mountain Winefest. I am so excited to explore this wine festival in beautiful Palisades, Colorado and experience the largest wine festival Colorado has to offer. The event is taking place September 16th starting at 10:30am. There will be over 50 Colorado wineries, a grape stomping and live music. Some seminars will be available along with chef live demonstrations.
One of the difficult parts of small Colorado vacations is planning the hotel, the food accommodations, and deciding who will be the designated driver. There is a way to make a wine festival simple, relaxing and fun for everyone involved.
Mile High Wine Tours will be offering a package deal that includes a comfortable ride in a luxury van by an experience wine tour driver, a two-night stay at the Double Tree Hotel (including breakfast), a ride to the wine festival and back to the hotel, and a ride back to Denver.
