Snooze
Snooze is a great brunch spot. Open daily and with multiple locations throughout the city, including a one at Union Station, there’s something on the menu for everyone. You can’t go wrong with any of their benedict selections or their pancakes. How can you resist Lemon Poppy seed Pancakes? They also have healthier options for those looking for such. As for their alcohol selections, there are a few different options. There’s the standard mimosa (with different juice options), a mimosa with tequila and St. Germain Liqueur, or a mimosa with beer. Bloody Mary’s are also available as are other “acceptable” morning cocktails. It’s a great place to start your day.
Central Bistro
If you’re looking to enjoy a view with your coffee, this is the place. Located in LoHi, Central has a view of downtown Denver as well as a great menu. Their savory options are so good and will cause you to have a hard time choosing what to order. They have a smoked salmon flatbread, which is like lox on a bagel, but with flatbread, to an open face omelette, to chicken fried Brie and waffles. There’s the standard mimosa, an endless mimosa, and a Bloody Mary. It’s a great atmosphere that’s great for a weekend brunch.
Duo Restaurant
A farm to table restaurant, Duo has a delicious brunch menu. There are gluten free options to vegetarian options to items that are neither gluten nor meat free. The options are fresh and ingenious. They have a delicious cider glazed pork benedict to a mushroom scramble to ciabatta French toast with nutmeg Chantilly cream. Not only is their food tasty, but they also give to many different charities and host benefits throughout the year.
The Corner Office
Located in downtown, The Corner Office is a great place to start a day downtown. Their mimosa selection is somewhat eclectic (they have carrot-mango, peach-ginger, and grapefruit juice options paired with three different bubblies) and of course they have a Bloody Mary. The menu contains a wide variety of selections, with quite a few egg options, like quiche bruschetta and crab benedict. For an appetizer, you can get a cinnamon roll, or if you want to go in a completely different direction, they have currywurst or poutine.
Denver Biscuit Co.
Last, but certainly not least, the Denver Biscuit Co. Their menu is pretty straightforward and pretty delicious. The breakfast options all include a biscuit, but there are plenty of options for what you want on or with your biscuit. They have sandwiches, which include different kinds of fried chicken sandwiches, a BLT with tender belly bacon, or one with pulled pork. There are also the platters, with options like biscuit French toast, biscuit pot pie, and the classic biscuits and gravy. And you have to get one of their cinnamon rolls. You cannot go wrong with their cinnamon rolls.
